Hello! My name is Clare and I love to cuddle on your lap. I’m a typical female “Tortie” with my green eyes and strong purr. I am 9 years old but I act like a kitten although I’m perfectly content with a soft blanket and will spend most of my time sleeping curled into a ball. I currently share my humans with other cats and am not getting the attention I need. Which is a bummer, because I am very affectionate and love snuggles. I’m quite curious, bold and social around other humans. I know I will adjust well to my new home. My favorite toys are boxes and pillows stuffed with catnip. In fact you might occasionally find me chewing on boxes, don’t worry it’s a just a habit of mine - I don’t actually eat them. I tend to be strong-willed and am possessive of my human and belongings. It would be great if my new fur-ever home had a yard. I love exploring and laying in the sun – it matches my independent personality. I listen very well and will come when called. I will love my human fiercely and prefer if it is just you and I. A perfect night would be me sitting in your lap with a blanket while you brush my hair. I may be 9yrs old but you wouldn’t know it because of my spunky attitude and playful nature. I am healthy, active and have a long life to live.
